Aside from great food, the service is incredible. The owners are special people and visit tables to ensure everything is as satisfactory as possible, I appetizers were great, as were the main courses. We are not kosher observant but this was recommended to us by neighbors

Absolutely fabulous. Spacious, comfortably lit, and well ventilated. You would never know the shawarma and grilling takes place openly right across the counter. But you can't miss it as you look across the large room over the happy diners and along the walls adorned with beautiful art depicting Israel and Judaica.

Taboun Grill is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Chicago. Their food is always fresh, the place is clean and the staff is attentive and friendly. The lunch special is a great value. The prices in general are quite reasonable for kosher.

Absolutely the best middle eastern restaurant in the Chicago area. The beef special (beef pieces grilled with mushrooms and onions) is just $18 and has a very generous amount of meat. Not to mention it is simply amazing. One can also feel the quality and freshness of all ingridients.
